These are images by Debra Tomaszewski - The concept of her work being to show how girl's interests and personality changes as they start the transition into womanhood. Poetic metaphors captured in everyday moments;- her images look into universal themes and question who the girls are becoming.

I think the images with the girls covering their face quite intriguing; it makes me question why the photographer did this, or why the girl posed this way? Does she not want to be identified? Or was it just a certain moment their face was covered ? If so, why did the photographer chose this image as the final one?

I find her work really appealing, as this is what I would like to look into at some point.
